Net680, as a new-hire I'd say the best gouge is simply go in and be yourself. There is a written test that is still covered by the old gouge. This company has it figured out that a test written by someone that doesn't have a clue how to fly an airplane (asking questions about why Cathy drives a blue car...give me a break) is going to guarantee they get the best folks. I am in class with GREAT and very sharp people. You're going to have an intro, a couple of management pilots asking you questions (there is 1 HR person sitting by you), then a couple of check airmen at the next round (again, there's an HR person sitting by you), then a sim scenario...and then some lunch. There are no "Gotcha" questions, seemed like no psych eval, and no trying to ask you questions where you could paint yourself into a corner. They're simply asking you about your experience, why you want to work here, and are you aware that it won't be easy trying to commute should you choose not to move to your base. Even the HR folks were asking reasonable questions. I did no prep and gave them honest answers...I'm guessing everyone else in my class did the same. Every one of my classmates is "What you see is what you get," we all get along great, and became friends fast.
