Huh? The most junior captains at those airlines except UPS, are in the 2003-2005 range while Delta is the late 90's. They also all make Delta widebody captain pay. There has been a lot more hiring in the last decade at those carriers than Delta. The bankruptcy contracts also sunk Delta and NWA way below those other carriers, until recently.
I bet you in a year Delta will be lowering its minimums.
I will take that bet as well....the plan at the moment is to hire 600 per year for the next ten years, and if you think there will be a need for Delta to lower its standards to meet that goal, you are mistaken.
