Secondly for people who are from the south south, DC is considered North and a bit to the east meaning Northeast. And to answer your final question, nobody is willing to work for free and nobody perhaps will, BUT nobody also wants to work for an airline perhaps like the one your in right now who is a slow sinking ship with no future. If there is a future, and quality of life with a little pay cut that comes with it, I would rather take that then jump on a sinking ship that gives no respect to its pilots.
