Majority rules, however there is quite a difference between a regularly scheduled election and a recall as soon as you get enough new incoming reps to swing the tide - that tide can swing both ways and it's not the process that "optimizes" results for the DAL pilots. Whatever, you won, the end obviously justifies the means, win the battle, etc., etc.
