That kind of attitude is not limited to fast movers as is the conventional wisdom many of us have. We've all come across them whether they're in fighters, bombers, transport, etc. A friend of mine had the same attitude interviewing for an AF reserve job. He pretty much gave the impression of, "Yeah, I'm not sure if this gig is for me, but if I decided to grace you with my presence what can you tell me about your outfit?" OK, a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point. Funny thing is he can laugh about it today, and learned something from the experience.
