Compass is hiring with guaranteed movement with the flow (as of today) with a product Delta likes, e.g.. no 50-seaters.
All we can go off of is what has been made public by the airline leaders. RA says they will reduce 50 seat airplanes to roughly 150 airframes. RA has said that Endeavor will be an 80 airframe company with all CRJ900s. Everything else is all speculation. A new hire can't look at that situation and say it's a great career move when as of today the airline is poised to shrink. Endeavor needs FOs now to cover the amount of FOs leaving for greener pastures. They're downgrading captains to cover the FO positions now! How can someone look at that and say "I don't care about the concessionary contract in place and that I am capped at 4 year pay as FO and I don't care that I'll be an FO 7 years from now capped at 4 year pay. I like being a junior FO in JFK sitting ready reserve and commuting. Life will be great"?
Until Delta says Endeavor will keep the majority of their 200s for several years and keep getting 900s as scheduled then it's a no brainer to stay away. I was a 6 year FO there with NO chance of upgrading and losing seniority in MSP with each realignment that came out. Things are moving backwards there for the junior guys.
When Delta comes out and says they will be growing the airline and keeping the 200s then I will eat my words. Til then, it's all speculation.
Get a fork. It happened yesterday.
