IFR rating cross country & foregin airports.
I've posted this question elsewhere, but; I am trying to definitively determine if it would be possible to combine my required long cross country for the IFR rating ( 250 nm, 3 diff. approaches at 3 diff airports, etc) with a trip to the Bahamas. Nothing about foreign airports in 61.65. Perhaps only the final approach of the 3 (or 1st airport of departure) could be in the Bahamas? I would be going with my instructor (of course- I can't file IFR Flt. plan myself). Any insight appreciated, or if anyone knows of an FAA document mentioning this.
