There is a reason why the merger happened when it happened and it has more to do with ASA than anything else.
Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better...Fact is, ASA was profitable and ExpressJet wasn't. In fact ExpressJet was bidding below cost for flying in LA.
Doesn't matter now, but most people I talk with on the ASA side now believe it was a mistake and wish we hadn't bought you guys....
It is a fact that you were going to be forced to the 2nd lowest. That is the reason for the merger. That is my only point. But people smarter than you and I disagree with you ASA people. Only time will tell.
