Very tough choice for 11 year point. I flew w/the 76th (GIII and GIVSP) back before the Guppy came. Great location; great mission; lots of flying--half stateside, and half to everywhere else including Africa. That said, you do fly only 1 or 2 primary customers (4-stars), and have to deal with the tug-o-war with who rates the big jet. SACEUR usually wins that one, though.

Only down side I found was the politics--usually caused by senior leadership not familiar w/DV airlift. Trying to do things w/the jet they shouldn't be doing. That comes w/the territory.

That said, I loved my time @ ETAR, and only left, because I had to.
