I regularly "get out of the way" and will do so even when travelling company business positive space. Sometimes the Flight Attendants don't care for the practice. Bribes (chocolates) help facilitate the cabin situation. But, IMHO more jumpseaters need to carry bribes and help. It is kinda unfair to give up your seat and go find goodies to try to help a guy who sometimes acts entitled.
