Competitive and bankrupt are two very different things.
And still to this day, no one with any credibility can say whether or not the Legacy Expressjet Airlines was headed for bankruptcy. No numbers or official statements or anything other than a few rumor starting tool bags can comment on this.
Stating that allegedly a company (LXJT) was in such financial distress and that its pilot group was to blame for this poor status combined with saying that the your airline (LASA) was in shipshape financially and would do just fine in the future had it not acquired said airline surely could use a little reference and backing to hold it's weight.
If you are going to support this supposed bankrupt LXJT rumor, could someone at least prove it? Some are absolutely dead-set on it. So it must be easily proven right?
