Indoc is about a month and aircraft specific training is abour 3-4 weeks. Jr bases are NYC and DTW. Don't buy a house for the first year, at least, this business is not super stable. Welcome aboard you are at the front of the wave and should have a very nice ride.
Actually for most connection guys (all except the most senior CAPTs) it will be a pay raise in year 2. By 2015 2nd year FO pay will be over $100 for all except the 717 and that will be $97. My prediction is that once the movement starts 2nd year guys will all be able to hold at least the 737 and that will pay $107 in year 2.
