I've come to the realization that parking at a jet-bridge and subjecting my customers and fellow crew-members to unnecessary noise pollution with #1 turning up to a minute after the L1 door has opened, is unsafe and incompatible with prudent operations. Much smarter to have #3 up and online then switch to ground power at MY convenience.
