United doesn't stay in anything less than a Sheraton or Hilton. Not sure about delta. Just seems that airways is really bad. Most of the guys here have the attitude that as long as it has a cheap restaurant or free coffee it's great. I'm just trying I get some info, I probably would have stayed away from here if I knew these motels would be my home for the next 25 years.
It's a bit demoralizing that the IBT was able to get us out of these same hotels and into better accommodations at the dirt-bag regional level. It seems an odd company-culture thing, nobody I work with seems to like where they are staying but are so resigned and beaten down they don't want to do anything to change it.
