Crew resources has already said that they aren't backfilling the 7ER as people bid off that. The A330s are in for lie-flat mods this winter, so I don't see many openings on that plane either. Possibly some large airplane retirements (B777, B747 and B764) could put a few openings in there. But really - all the AEs in the foreseeable will be for narrow bodies. There will be Captain openings too, but most of the recalls are too junior to hold a Captain position.
they seem to say no backfills then turn around and backfill. i really dont believe much of what is said by CR. i used too, but not lately. now if CR is bring honest then I agree with you.
watch for ER backfills and for recalls that didnt already get the 73 or 320 to head that way. its just my guess but i doubt many held out this long in the hopes of returning to the 88.
