Uggggh, thread drift........
So far, I'll rate you as "fair" at pulling a foot out of a mouth. And sorry to break it to you, K4 was getting the similar/same as far as the applicant stack and background/quals/resumes. And as weird as it sounds, OMNI was getting longer and longer lines at the job fairs not too long ago. But then again, DAL/SWA/AA/USAir WASN'T EVEN HIRING.
Scheduled air carrier vs. on demand/global charter/ad-hoc/ACMI carrier. Apples vs. oranges. The patterns can change last minute ALL THE TIME to suit the "needs of the customer". But if one is a high MX princess and needs all sorts of scheduled structure in their life, it's not their kind of place.
One of the reasons that heavy/mil/AMC guys deal with it well, as well as some of the regional guys that came from one where stuff changed ALL THE TIME.
Really now? Different strokes for different folks......
But OK, fair enough. But what exactly are the "issues" of the guys flying at an ACMI carrier? Lot's of them have done scheduled flying in previous lives so the points you were trying to make aren't that valid. You never answered my inquiry on a clarification.
Not a matter of who, more a plural. They've hired more than ONE. For all sorts of reasons, but maybe they're thinning out/retiring. Plus they have the contract to train AF1 for the government, after UAL had it for a period of time.
So, how about all them guys interviewing and getting hired in ATL
