How Delta will safeguard and apply this information is unknown. It's not a stretch to infer that it will become a part of Delta's "big data" on each of us, included in our files about how many times we've used the commuter policy, neglected gatehouse PAs, sick calls(!), etc.

IMO, this new requirement presents some troubling privacy issues--especially for our spouses.

Last year that information was "optional but highly recommend." Has it changed this year to being required? I also have a hard time with the privacy issues this might bring up. Never mind I just looked it up. This is a bad precedent I think.
