There's a D-ALPA establishment, you aren't it, and they've demonstrated that they get very upset when they're not in power & know how to work the system to get back in power - without pesky impediments like being voted in by the pilots.

Of course I think you know all this, but take the pollyannaish tone out of fear what a boost this gives to the DPA. I agree. It's like ALPA is trying to engineer its own destruction.
