To be honest, I don't know exactly which eye procedure my nephew had done for acceptance into the Navy. His eyes needed doing while in NROTC at UC Boulder. The procedure was coordinated and approved with the Navy Aeromedical Office.
Not up to speed on what, if any, eye surgery is approved by the AF Flight Medicine.

Most likely PRK. I think they did some experimental LASIK for people already in the Navy, but I'm not sure if they ever approved LASIK for off-the-street aviation candidates.
