The specific wording of the bridge agreement requires anyone invited to the SSP to meet all of the hiring requirements, one of which is the degree. One can only wonder the lawsuits that can come from not following the letter of the bridge agreement.
The SSP folks count toward the preferential hiring of DCI pilots.
The vault letter supersedes the bridge agreement apparently, but we're not allowed to see it. Is it not a bit troubling that ALPA has parts of our contract we are not allowed to see?
I can't wait for scheduling to call me one day, saying I'm junior manned under the "secret contract", and if I refuse, I'll be put on double secret probation.
