People seasoned in the regional airlines know that. However, they are hoping to pry on all those star-eyed CFI's and low timers. Just begging to be put in a shiny jet! It is more cost effective to offer a bonus for management. Because they can ALWAYS take it away if things go down the drain.
The problem is not every low timer and star eyed CFI make much more money than first year FO, and Seminole time will never carry them in to the majors.
