We need a Chairman who is not a member of either group.

Somebody who has been around here long enough to understand the issues facing the pilot group but who doesn't have any ties to the existing factions in DALPA.
There are clearly some ALPA careerists who need to be sent back to the line for awhile and there are clearly some insurgents who need to get with the program and start rowing in the same direction as everyone else after a decision has been made.
The barnacle encrusted old guard needs to be stripped off the hull. At the same time, the perennial "opposition" bomb throwers who obstruct progress for no good reason other than spite need to be called out.

Somebody needs to bang some heads together and put an end to this nonsense.
