This is issue should have EVERYONE concerned, whether you are pro ALPA or pro DPA. This has the appearance of a huge abuse of power. Subverting and controlling another elected reps freedom of speech for political gain is NEVER acceptable. If this is true and the incumbent is re-elected, I would not be surprised to see a recall movement.
It is interesting when the C66 captain rep accused others of "Chicago style politics" in an endorsement letter for an election in someone else's council (108). Meanwhile attempting to stifle the regular council communication of the longest serving officer in his own Council.
Sounds like the C66 capt rep is the one practicing "Chicago style politics"!
