Hillbilly don't you get one "freebie?" I thought the first aircraft you get assigned has no seat lock. So if you get the 73N NYC in class and three months later an AE posts with M88 vacancies, you can bid it. One thing to consider is that changing categories during probation exposes you to another jeopardy event.
