So if you get the 73N NYC in class and three months later an AE posts with M88 vacancies, you can bid it. One thing to consider is that changing categories during probation exposes you to another jeopardy event.
That was changed not too long ago. New hires now have a 1 year seat lock. In exchange, we got rid of the recovery obligations for OE.
