I'm pretty sure right now if you ran around your house with a model airplane making engine noises, that's all the experience you need to get a call from Republic. Not saying you'll get hired but you'll get an interview call. I've had friends well qualified for even Spirit or Allegiant go to Republic but I've also known of peers with multiple check ride busts, DUI's, criminal records, open LOI's get interview calls as well. I think it's safe to say Republic is an airline having staffing issues.
