I think 5000 would help with our endeavors on capital hill. One of the things congressmen and senators want to know when you speak to their office is how many votes do you represent to them. I'm sure there are some talented pilots at USAir that probably live in the DC area and are familiar with congressional interactions. Those pilots could help us all on many of the issues we face as pilots for US carriers. Right now they aren't doing anything that I can point to because the effective structure isn't there for them.

More PAC contributors wouldn't hurt our collective cause either.
