I hear this about United all the time and have yet to figure out where it comes from. I got hired without any connections and most of the guys I went through training with are similar. The most connected I am is 3 recs from 73 FOs. If that's your definition then I stand corrected. I like to think it was 1,000+ hrs of single seat IP/EP time, DO, Safety, etc.
