i think its fair to say we can be optimistic about the future. It looks bright!
I keep reminding myself of that. I've personally got about 1240 IP/EP hours (out of 3350 total with 2000 TPIC), have a masters degree, and have been a chief of safety/flight safety a few times in my career but so far nothing from any of the airlines I've applied to. I'm headed to Dallas Thursday to visit with Spirit. That will be my first interaction with any of the industry HR people.

Here's to hoping we all get our shot in the next year or so.
