I think I phrased my question poorly. I wasn't trying to start a tech/non-tech contest, I'm just curious why anyone cares what my GPA was 20 years ago. A high GPA means you were good...at school. I've read more than one study/article showing the lack of correlation between GPA and work success, here's one:
