FL will always be full of lifers. But, all the junior DECs are already starting to bail, and will create CA vacancies for the middle level FOs to upgrade. The white elephant in the room-- you can't become a captain if you have no one to be your FO.
Herein lies the problem. We need to be able to hire and graduate 20 people a month for 3 months to catch up. The 5 or 6 out of 20 that get through means we are not catching up.
