Seems like a lot of people are whining about things they heard from a friend about interviews. If you dislike the way a certain airline conducts its interviews, don't want to get a type rating pre-interview, or don't like who they may invite to a dinner, don't apply or figure out a way to metaphorically hold your nose during the process.
As someone on the outside looking in wondering what it's like in the right seat of a 7ER, it's not whining, it's looking to see if there is just one more box to fill to move the app up the list.
Maybe you've forgotten about how it is when you're searching for a job.
