Here's how I looked at it. They were paying for it; I'd bring who they said I could bring. They were simply trying to prevent guys (or gals) from having someone tag along for a free evening out. On the other hand, we never have to buy newspapers, sit around FBOs, or be on call 24/7! We got that goin' for us at least!
Certainly not a deal breaker. Was just mentioning it as a side note since someone brought up the desire to get married
