What is a grown up supposed to do after furlough or lay off when they have a family to support? There are few good companies hiring and most are looking for sitting RJ captains. When a major airline FO gets laid off they are almost useless to the the current market. Just what are they supposed to do? Get in line again at Skywest? That is rough, no doubt. But, I firmly believe if flying is your DREAM, you could make it work somehow and still keep your dreams alive. It may take longer as well. I guess that is a personal decision and one only a guy/gal in that situation could figure out with alot of thought and support from family.
