Haha. My wife (girlfriend of 7 years at the time) wasn't permitted to attend. I made a personal inquiry after class one day to see if she would be allowed. Bottom line; no ring on the finger, then your spouse probably isn't coming. She still wishes she could have gone, and to be honest, I wish she could have. She's been with me pretty much since I got my private pilot certificate. I'd have really liked to have shared the event with her.
