Actually, that's a change since I was hired in 2000. My significant other (now my loving wife) was able to join me through indoc. Maybe it's changed back (or not). Haven't heard what they're going to do (or not do) if someone shows up with their same sex spouse (from the states that allow that). I know Delta has long allowed medical benefits to significant others.
