I don't work for Mesa so I can't speak from an insiders perspective. But perhaps they didn't realize what they were getting themselves into. I wouldn't go as far as contempt but they should get out of the situation as soon as opportunity allows.
I did not realize what I was getting into...this was a number of years ago when even a job at mesa required 1500 hours and inside connections. My inside connection didn't really enlighten me much unfortunately, but mesa was nowhere near as bad then.
After I wised up and the place started to REALLY go downhill, I bailed. I waited longer than I should have, but I had a lot going on. Changing airlines is not something to be taken lightly if you have family and/or other responsibilities.
However at this point I am really starting to wonder about the folks who stay at mesa. I've helped 5 or 6 mesa FO's come over to SKW, but I was floored last week when I got a call from another old mesa buddy who wanted me to walk his papers in...this guy is an 8 year CA
