Well, it's always your choice to decide credibility. But this is very close to what I'm hearing. DPA was able to track it back to a time and place that implicated a very small number of people. The people involved in the hacking found out about how close DPA was getting in their investigation, and realized the FBI would be able to easily take it the rest of the way. The people involved in the hacking then called DPA to try and reach a deal not to take this investigation any further. So far, a public apology is something the people involved won't do.

Everyone will have to make their own call on credibility.
