That's about how I felt when I transitioned from the C-21 (Lear 35) to the C-130E. Going from 430-460 knots to 260-280 knots was downright painful!
It was real weird going from the T-1A in UPT to the E model, back to the T-1A to instruct and then back to the J. My partner at PIT had come from the -130, but had never flown the T-1A, it was quite an eye opener for him.
