This. US Airways has made money by being the stingiest bastard. And, behind the scenes, CATCREW is actually very powerful from an operational standpoint (from what I've heard). The cost to reprogram it from scratch in a more modern format would be astronomical and fraught with danger for very little operational benefit.
I would expect that they will eventually throw a web interface on top of it.
