I think overall reserve QOL decreases with this TA, and the number of people who will be on reserve will increase (and it's too high as is). I can't believe they didn't insert a maximum on reserve coverage. Look at IAD for DEC:
-18 reserves, yet the TLV was set at 100.
-27%+ of the total FOs, and 37.5% WRT line holders.
and on a side note:
-Number of lines with Christmas GDOs: 1
-Number of lines with New Year's Eve GDOs: 0
Scheduling already has the reserves by the neck, and now they want us to give them MORE control over our lives?
Give me a break!
After looking into the reserve issue I have decided to vote NO! Although there were some improvements and now the fact that I have to be a first officer, and a captain, along with other problems directed me in the NO direction. So for you L-Expressjet pilots you now have more NO votes going to come from the ASA side as well. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of reserve pilots will be voting NO.
