Unfortunately, the company will always say that the unions proposal it too expensive. The problem for you guys is that your opener was "reasonable". You have nowhere to go but down in your expectations and since they weren't very high to begin with since your opener was "reasonable" you might get a very mediocre contract. Rumor again has it that you will only get the scope that you seek if you accept UPS commercial ticket and deadhead policy. I know for a fact that the UPS negotiator has already offered us your commercial tickey policy..... as long as we accept your current scope language!
