As a new hire from a military background CRM and briefs are about right. Any more and it would approach the Air Force level of micro management. No thanks.

The trailer and cooler issue is a self fulfilling prophecy. Some Uhires showed up ****ed. Understandable after two furloughs. No trailers. Food was good. If you expected cooked to order eggs it wasn't up to that level.

Flight instructors were very good. Ground school instructors hit or miss. Wacky rotating sim times and systems ground school not so good.

My opinion and only a few months in is Most pilots are fine and all have an opinion on SLI. The outliers at lUAL are obnoxious and arrogant $&@?s. Already one very over the line confrontation with one ALUF (Angry Legacy United FO). Uncool. The outliers at lCON are greedy &$@?s who will work everyday and are helping to slow others from becoming Captains. Understand angst and need to make up for bad years, but those things aren't helping the point if this thread.

Which is more folks getting to move up.
