Why don't you go ahead and post a point by point comparison of why our contract is so bad? You can't because you have no idea what is in our contract and babble on like a lemming because everyone is "so mad" about the pay caps.

The ONLY things we changed in our new TA was the caps, and insurance.

I just posted about this and I'll do it one more time because when someone posts reasonable facts and un-emotional comments everyone ignores them because they can't argue with them. Just like the post I made about a page ago.

Our pay is middle of the road with the caps. Yes, I cannot argue with that. However, its not even close to the bottom and if you add in our industry leading 401k compensation, it is pushed a lot closer to the top than people here want to acknowledge or even have any idea about. Being in the middle of the road is not a bad place to be. I'd rather be at the top of course but our overall compensation is HARDLY a detriment to this section of the industry. Also, being at the very top compensation wise, of the regionals has a pretty extensive history of being bad for that particular airline.

Insurance: Yes it went up.......It went up 8 dollars a month for a single and 40 dollars a month for family. That is at the absolute max and that will not occur for another 3 years. MY INSURANCE WENT DOWN FOR 2014. Again, hardly creating downward pressure on the industry. 8 bucks........

The thing that no one mentions is the 10 years. That is unfortunate and IMO the worst part. It is the reason I voted the way I did.

So here it is again......I WANT YOU TO POST A POINT BY POINT COMPARISON OF WHY PSA'S CONTRACT IS WORSE THAN OTHERS.

FWIW I used our terrible contract to get 18 days off with xmas/new years off for december. If I add ANYTHING it will all be 1.5x pay.

Have at it.
The point by point comparison was already done on this forum when you guys had the opportunity to vote that crap down. Really there is no reason for me to rehash this again.

I'm glad you think taking concessions without the threat of bankruptcy is a good idea, I'm sure management loves you also.

Edit: How is your 401k industry leading? It starts at a 2.5% and last I checked that's not industry leading.
