For the AA guys who are concerned about the training department power struggle, don't be. The US training department is superb, and well deserves its reputation as the envy of the industry. AA also has an excellent department and reputation, and as long as whatever mix of folks takes over can work well together, I think we'll all be okay. I'm sure most of us on both sides would prefer to retain our own side's "philosophy" for comfort's sake, but we shall see. I like the US methodology ... flows, short checklists, etc. ... over the AA method with no flows, more thorough checklists, and the like. But, like the rest of us, I suppose I'll do whatever the people who sign the paychecks tell me to do.
