So you're telling me that the Navy would allow you to go to Wal-Mart and buy a pair of Khakis that may or may not match what they issue? And as far as different STYLE of uniforms, thats not what I was talking about- they were issued by the Company. Finally, if you don't think the Pax care about how you look I think you're living under a rock! ALL the group of my Friends/Business Men in my group (2 of them are 1K frequent flyers) talk about their flying experience!! What the plane looks like old or new, how the Crew looks both physically and dressed! Is this profiling, ABSOLUTELY! As far as the safety aspect, I along with you wish this drove more flying choices. Unfortunately, I don't think this crosses their mind that often otherwise, many Asian/African carriers would be out of business. They just look at the A/C, the crew and the food and see's how much it's going to cost them! They expect safety for FREE!
