He can always leave if he feels like there's a superior contract to be had and in the meantime he can enjoy more QoL and probably more pay than a prop airline.

The majority of your fleet are 50 seaters. A year plus on reserve isn't what I would call a good qol with horrible first year pay. Fast upgrade at PSA is just hope right now. He might as well go to Mesa for the quick upgrade. Plus they are in negotiations for a new contract.
