I believe the real story is that because they have opened to so many new members they have diluted the core group of really responsible, low claim people they had. It's been good for business having more people, but it's also caused their payouts to increase. Thus the increase in your rates even though you may not have had claims. Hope you're still getting good service, my wife is an employee, but I guess it's a decision as to whether or not it's worth it to you.
Agreed. Now I know this sounds snobbish and arrogant, but didn't it used to be for Officers only? and now the TV commercials you see ALOT. Sorry but because someone's Grandfather or Father or brother served in Djibouti or Vietnam 50 years ago doesn't necessarily make you a good risk. Have always liked their customer service but the rate increases!!!!! NOTHING has increased like these rates I would think......
