I've worked for the airline that had unlimited JRM; I lost dinner dates, days off and family trips. I will NOT support any type of language that allows for that type of stuff here.
I DO, however, feel I should be able to voluntarily work any extra I damn well please.
I believe that most of us agree with that statement, it is why we do what we do.
Perhaps on our next contract some of the OT language (pay) will change for the better...but I think that we can only get there working all together rather than this "pro-against contract" groups we created.
It would be nice to pick up OT at 150%, and I can't, and I don't feel the need to insult the work or ethics of our union reps (pro-against contract)I wasn't there the moment that card was played, with that said, if they do something out of line, by all means we all should call it out. These group of guys work as hard as the previous and I'm sure the new up and coming teams will do the same. We still know each other pretty well, we aren't a 12000 pilot airline.
Just my dumb opinion.
