You're right. This could be bad for AS pilots. It just depends on how successful the 3 legacies are at beating us on the West Coast. It's not like the code share started and we immediately moved in on a bunch of routes previously flown by DL (but I admit I can think of a few). My guess is only a handful of city pairs exist today, because of the code share. I know, I know, there are cities we do now that DL used to do, but there's no telling if AS would have done those routes without the code share. Do you honestly believe AS wouldn't be flying PDX-HNL if there was no code share and DL flew that route?

As far as our code share having been good for AS pilot? We have fewer pilots now than we did in '06. Are you suggesting we would be even worse off without the 3% revenue we gain through the code share?

Why don't you ask yourself how many of the SEA-TPAC/TATL flights would exist without the code share.
Cesna, don't know, don't really care. All I know is anecdotal and from my perspective. I've been an LA-based 73 guy since early 2008. I've personally experienced the degradation of our flying, our route structure, and most of it has gone to AK. Now, we're getting it back because, for whatever reason, our guy is ****ed at your guy. Like I said, its not personal. AK pilots greatly benefited from the relationship for awhile. Now, we're regaining some lost playing field.
